Photos from Japan, Part 2. My favorite animals.

We saw a lot of animals while we were in Japan. These are just a few of them. I really missed my Chipper, Piiko and Pookie. I know that Cheryl missed hers, too.

This bird actually built a nest in the window of the bedroom where Fred and Cheryl slept. Fred complained bitterly about the birds waking him up at 4:30 a.m. That's when he decided to sleep downstairs in the living room on the pull-out sofa/bed. He also said the door was broken and the air conditioner didn't work.

Koi in a big pond at Edo Mura in Nikko. They were just creepy.

These two koi were swimming in a man-made stream at the cemetery where my Araya family members are buried.

Pella is a Shiba inu that we met in Maruyama Park in Kyoto. He is 11 years old and was a sweetie.

Our cousin Hiroki's miniature apricot poodle. His name is Pudding and he lives in Kobe.

A turtle in Maruyama Park in Kyoto.

We saw this pretty cat in a shop in Kyoto. The store was closed, but Cheryl got this great shot of the cat just watching people walk by.
