Beau and Kimberly's excellent adventure

I watched the Tony Awards on June 15.

What I didn't know is Kimberly Hickman, who manages the Springer on Tour for the Springer Opera House, was at the Tony Awards.

In fact, she was a seat filler.

If you don't know what a seat filler is, here's how it works. A bunch of people are hired for the night. When a star gets up to go to the bathroom or outside to smoke, a seat filler sits in that seat until he or she gets back.

Well, Kimberly was asked to sit and the person never came back. So she was sitting about 20 rows back in the middle of the orchestra.

She calls it the most fantastic night ever. I guess so.

Kimberly was in New York City visiting Beau Bisson, who used to do her job at the Springer.

Someone took this photo of the two of them in front of Radio City Music Hall.
